From Cliffhanger to Compass
A months-long journey with the Financial Empowerment Network culminated in a powerful retreat and the creation of a Calibrated Compass to guide their future. Alongside Valériana Chikoti-Bandua Estes of Necessary Interruptions, I helped weave listening, co-creation, and abundance into FEN’s next chapter; one that continues at the 2025 Bank On Washington Forum.

Ideas Are for Sharing
The Collective Affirmation Deck is a creative, community-made deck of encouragement. Each card carries a soulful, funny, or bold reminder like “I am enough” or the cheeky “You don’t pay my bills” (hello Destiny’s Child nostalgia). This simple activity works with kids, adults, or intergenerational groups and leaves everyone with a shared well of wisdom, humor, and resilience to draw from.

Creativity & Connection
At the Art of Belonging conference, we filled rooms with color, connection, and care—creating affirmation cards and zines that will keep speaking long after the event. These hands-on workshops centered migrant education, celebrated community voices, and proved that art can be both the language and the bridge.

Protection & Renewal
Rooted in ancient ritual and personal heritage, this post explores the deep meaning behind the Mati (Evil Eye) and Martis—red-and-white bracelets traditionally worn in March in Greece. These symbols inspire the way I approach systems change, community care, and equity-driven consulting. A reflection on protection, renewal, and what it means to welcome spring with intention.

Owls, Wisdom, and Vision
Owls have long symbolized wisdom, protection, and clarity. In ancient Greece, the owl of Athena represented foresight and strategic vision. My lifelong connection to birds, from childhood to my work today, reflects this enduring wisdom. As a consultant, I help organizations navigate complexity, align strategy with purpose, and build resilience—much like the owl, which sees through darkness to reveal the path forward. I continue to learn from birds, honoring their role in both my ancestry and my approach to guiding transformative change.

Lessons from the Olive Grove
Harvesting olives in my family’s village near Sparti is more than tradition—it’s a lesson in patience, resilience, and deep connection. Just as the olive tree thrives across generations, meaningful change requires care, collaboration, and long-term vision. In my work, I strive to cultivate strategies that endure, much like the roots of these ancient groves.
